Spontaneous was born out of my neighborhood friends and me gushing over how amazing chance encounters are. We ran into each other often enough on the trails or at our coffee shop that we wanted to somehow design for more of that.

Here's a story of how Spontaneous works: Jeremy goes to his neighborhood park to lounge and read a book. When he arrives he gets a notification from Spontaneous asking if he wants to ping his closest friends to come join him. He hits "yes" and within minutes 2 of his friends walk over and join him for a sweet lil park hang.

When someone's "in the neighborhood" a world of potential connection and joy opens up. We're excited to help more people be in the moment and recreate the spontaneity they felt in childhood or college. We're excited to help people get off of their phones and out spending time with the people they love.
